‘The Agency’ Renewed for Season 2 After Setting Record Time!
The espionage thriller based on the hit French TV series “Le Bureau des Legendes” has been renewed for a second season on Paramount+ With Showtime just weeks after its premiere and is doing well in terms of streaming numbers outstanding.
Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios reports that “The Secret Service” is the most-streamed new series in Showtime’s history, with 5.1 million global viewers across platforms.
CIA tells the story of Martian (played by two-time Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender), a covert CIA agent who is ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to a London station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance is rekindled, and his career, his true identity, and his mission all come to battle with his heart; drawing the Martian into a world of international intrigue and espionage. Deadly game.
The cast also includes Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright (“Westworld”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“The Last Ship”), Katherine Waterston (Perry Mason), John Magaro (The Big Short), Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooker (Absent), Harriet Sansom Harris (Desperate Housewives), India Fowler (Nevers ), Saura Lightfoot-Leon (Air Master), Reza Brogedi (Chiefs) and Richard Gere.
