Today, Prime Video released the official trailer and key art for On Call, a gripping new half-hour series from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television.
Co-created by Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolf, On Call is Wolf Entertainment’s first scripted streaming series, and all eight episodes will Premiering exclusively on Prime Video on January 9, 2025 in over 240 countries and territories around the world.
“On Call” is an adrenaline-packed police drama that follows a pair of rookie and veteran police officers on patrol in Long Beach, California.
This innovative series combines body cameras, dash cams and cell phone lenses to create an authentic cinematic effect.
It explores the ethics of protecting and serving the community.
The series stars Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) as Officer Tracy Harmon, a twelve-year veteran and police officer in training with a strong moral compass. It defined her approach to policing, even as it put her at odds with new law enforcement policies.
Brandon Laracunt (“The Good Doctor”) stars as Alex Diaz, an ambitious newcomer who struggles to maintain a positive attitude as he realizes the challenges he will face in today’s climate .
We’ve seen all eight episodes, and its storytelling is fresh and propulsive.
You’ll be reminded of a host of other shows, including On Patrol: Live, The Rookie and Southland, but there’s no room for excess here, and On Call’s arrival is completely unexpected.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Pictures Group, and Amazon-MGM Studios, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
