Although Bruce Wayne’s Dark Knight is one of the most reinvented superheroes, Pattinson brought his own interpretation and confidence to the character, making it one of the most successful movies of 2022.
The sequel was announced quickly, but fans only heard about the delayed release and no trailer or storyline for the next film.
In response to these setbacks, Pattinson joked to The New York Times, “By the time these setbacks are over, I can actually retire.” So we don’t have any news about an accelerated resumption of the film.
We’re still targeting a 2026 release date, and while we know a third movie is planned, it’s unclear when the trilogy caps off.
Meanwhile, Pattinson has a number of other high-profile films in the works. First is the director Bong Joon Hoscience fiction comedy, Mickey 17will be released on April 18.
He is also about to embark on Christopher NolanUniversal Pictures’ next mystery project also features a star-studded cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Shandaya, charlize theron, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Rob Pattinsonand Lupita Nyong’o.
