Ryan Reynolds Following the hit film, Deadpool’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was recently revealed Deadpool and Wolverine.
Reynolds believes Deadpool will be more of a supporting character in the future, and the next time we see the character will likely be in another character’s movie.
while talking Andrew Garfield Speaking on Variety’s Actors on Actors, Reynolds said: “I see Deadpool as a supporting character, not a major character. [character] Or in the center.
“Sometimes we put him at center because they want to, that’s what they want. But you can’t make him center unless you take everything away from him. You have to create a situation where he’s at a disadvantage. I think I Can’t do this anymore.
“If he comes back, I think he’ll be in someone else’s movie. Channing Tatum is excited to play Gambit, and I’d love to be the fifth banana in his movie or someone else’s movie.
Reynolds went on to explain: “My feeling is [the] The character works well in two ways. One is scarcity and surprise. It’s been six years since the last one, partly because it consumed my entire life.
“From development and post-production to marketing and publicity, you never take your hands off the control stick.
“Well you could say – I have four kids, and I don’t want to be on a first-name basis with any of them. I don’t want to be absent and miss out on anything. When I see their faces, they have a game, or It’s a sports game, or something, and my insides are killing me, and I’m missing out.
“So I don’t know what the future holds for Deadpool, but Sean [Levy] I made the movie have a beginning, middle and end, to be a complete experience rather than an advertisement for another movie. I think sometimes it’s important to give space for a movie to be a movie.
While we’re not sure about the next time we’ll see Deadpool on the big screen, I’m pretty confident he’ll appear in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars. It’s also always possible that his role in these films was more important than we thought.
What do you think of Deadpool’s future in the MCU? Where do you think we’ll see him show up next?
