A new company founded by music, gaming and wellness experts is launching a virtual reality app designed to harness the therapeutic benefits of singing.
To achieve this goal, Realize Music Company Strategic agreements have been reached with the following companies universal music group (UMG) and Warner Music Group (WMG) which will bring 1 million tracked Realizing Music: Singing app, with new tracks landing every week. The company said more music deals are on the way.
Realizing Music: Singing Will launch in North America on January 23, 2025 meta platformMeta Quest VR Headset. Realize Music says it is working on a version of the app apple, Samsungand sony PSVR2 devices, as well as adaptations for mobile devices, PC and Mac computers, smart TVs and other media.
The app will be launched at an introductory discounted subscription price $9.99 monthly, or $99.99 each year.

On top of an extensive music library “suitable for every musical taste and mood,” Realizing Music: SingingFeatures will include “Voice Responsive Environments” (visuals that respond to the user’s singing), “Lyric Visualization” (which transforms lyrics into “captivating visuals”), and interactive activities such as 3D painting and air drumming.
Users can also create and share playlists.

Neither UMG nor Warner is new to the health music space, with both companies partnering with multiple companies and investing millions of dollars to explore new health-related music applications.
In 2022, UMG partners with music health technology company music health on an app called veraaims to help people with dementia through music.
In 2023, UMG and Arianna Huffingtonof Thriving Globally create Sorosa music-centric wellness app. In the same year, UMG also collaborated with generative artificial intelligence startups ending Create “artificial intelligence-driven, artist-driven functional music” for sleeping, running, relaxing and other purposes.
This year, MBW Uncovered a patent from Universal covering a method of generating binaural beats and adding them to existing music. These beats can be used to produce various mental states.
Most recently, earlier this week, UMG announced a partnership with Cardiff-based Reinvent innovation Discover a new virtual reality therapy that combines personalized music to treat anxiety.
