According to data tracking company Luminate, Noah Kahan, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, MF Doom and The Beatles The vinyl albums released by the Beatles were all among the best-selling albums on the 2024 Record Store Day (RSD) Black Friday.
The Independent Record Store Celebration, held the day after Thanksgiving (November 29), is a partner holiday that traditionally complements the major Record Store Day blowout held each April. Both occasions spurred the release of many unique, limited-edition music, much of it on vinyl, that could only be purchased at participating independent record stores. More than 150 titles are expected to be released during the 2024 RSD Black Friday celebrations.
Kahan holds the title of RSD’s best-selling Black Friday 2024, with his Tiger Eye Brown vinyl Town Hall (Stick Season collaboration).
