A remake of a classic musical Chitti Chitti Bang Bang Amazon-MGM Studios and “James Bond” backer Eon Productions are producing the film.
The film is in the early stages of development, with Eon and Amazon executives meeting with potential writers and directors. It is intended to be released in theaters.

Chitti Chitti Bang Bang The play was also adapted into a stage musical, which features six new songs by the Sherman Brothers, who composed the music for the film.
The play premiered in London in 2002 and opened on Broadway in 2005.
The project continues the partnership between Amazon MGM and Eon Productions, which is responsible for bringing the Bond franchise to the big screen.
