We know the first trailer James Gunnof superman It will drop in December. I’ve personally heard from a few people that the trailer might be released before Christmas on the 23rd, but now there are reports that the trailer might debut next week.
This latest news comes from Puck’s Matthew Belloni, and if it’s true, it could be hitting theaters Mufasa: The Lion King and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Next weekend.
The trailer will reportedly be more of a tease of the look and tone of the Superman movie than a traditional sneak peek.
In his report, Belloni teased: “Also, the big Superman trailer premiering next week apparently features…a dog?” So the focus of the trailer may just be Krypton and not Superman. :man of Steel”.
We can only wait and see! But this seems to be something unique and unconventional that Gunn did for the trailer.
Gunn previously said of Krypto: “Krypto appears on screen in this summer’s Superman. Krypto was inspired by our dog Ozu, who we adopted shortly after I started writing Superman. ”
“Ozu hoarded food in the backyard with 60 other dogs and never knew humans, which was problematic to say the least. He immediately came in and destroyed our home, our shoes, our furniture – he even ate my laptop.
“It took a long time before he let us touch him. I remember thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, how difficult would life be if Ozu had superpowers?'” – So Krypton entered the script and changed the story form, just like Ozu is changing my life.

superman will follow “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent in Smallville, Kansas.”
