Netflix to launch in 2024 continue Very interesting. it is not Die Hardto be precise, but close. Essentially, it’s Justin Bateman vs. Taron Egerton, without the “Now I have a machine gun. Hoo, ho, ho.”
Director Jaime Collet-Serra captures this perfectly. *Why shouldn’t he? His kindness included orphan, jungle cruise and black adam Just to name a few of his previous films. Based on a script by TJ Fixman (perhaps better known in gaming circles as: Ratchet & Clank, anyone?), this obvious contender for the new Christmas movie Die Hard is really fun.
*Side note: Bruce Willis has spoken out Die Hard yes no A Christmas movie. Okay, so he starred in this movie. But that’s all I know. It’s not officially Santa Claus until the eggnog is poured out and I hear Alan Rickman pronounce the line “Hoo, ho, ho.” But what do I know?
story
It’s Christmas Eve at Los Angeles International Airport. Ethan Kopek is an underachieving TSA agent who might one day become a police officer. He was about to undergo the worst turnaround of his three-year career. The Traveler is a “facilitator” who is about to kill a lot of people. The Travelers will use Kopec to achieve his goal.

Putting aside the excellent acting skills, continue Make sure we understand this is Christmas. Cheerful carols, classic tunes from Christmases past and decorations everywhere. The fact that Christmas Eve is mentioned repeatedly may mean that this “version” Die Hard You won’t be faced with the old question of “Is this a Christmas movie?”
It works, but it’s still not Die Hard
continue work. Although I have to say, this reminds me more of old Colin Farrell movies telephone booth. To be fair, this movie is probably a bit like Die Hard 2 But that’s just because it’s located at the airport. However, no war criminals attempt to escape, and the protagonist is not an off-duty police officer. In fact, he is not a police officer at all.
But is there any suspense? action? The pace keeps you interested? Yes, yes, yes. Bateman is a great villain. Egerton is a great action actor, he has a track record after all. Kingsman Do I have someone with me?
*PS: Hats off to Dean Norris (my personal favorite) for knocking an over-the-top cameo out of the proverbial park* * *
Lorne Balfe brings us candy canes and the musical score for the play. Director of photography Lyle Vincent manages to make every frame snap and crackle.
continue All cylinders were on fire. Before watching this film, I was skeptical of the film’s merits. It does entertain well though. Netflix manages to convey the same feeling as Willis Die Hard The time goes back to 1988.

continue It’s a movie with a full 5 stars. Sure, it feels a bit like other movies, and it does Die Hard 2 Cell phones and Apple iWatch, but everything works. Egerton and his cast members, including his girlfriend Nora, are both likable and relatable. The film is only available on Netflix. Go check it out now.
