“Oh yeah, oh yeah, Austin!” electronic music maestro Carl Cox said as he began his performance at the Texas capital’s Seismic Dance Event in November. The audience announced the news.
Cox played one of his signature Hybrid Live sets at the event, both DJing and using hardware including drum machines and synthesizers. Seismic Dance Event is a biannual music festival presented by RealMusic Events, an Austin-based production company founded in 2009 by Kelly Gray and Andrew Parsons Founded in year. Seismic’s November show, held at The Concourse Project, an indoor and outdoor venue in Austin operated by RealMusic Events, showcased more than 30 house and techno artists from November 15-17, attracting thousands of attendees.

The lineup for the November event includes other stars such as Cox, Disclosure, Eric Prydz and Gesaffelstein, in addition to more than two dozen other acts including Sammy Virji, Orbital and Hannah Wants.
