Netflix has renewed The Insider for a second season.
Netflix announced the news on its official X account on Monday. The second season of the show is expected to premiere in 2025.
Ted Danson stars in this single-camera comedy based on the Oscar-nominated Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.”
The show’s cast also includes Stephanie Beatrice, Eugene Cordero, Sally Struthers, Mark Evan Jackson, Kerry O’Malley, John Gates, Michael Fowler, Clyde Kusatsu, Lori Tan Chin, Susan Rutan, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Veronica Cartwright.
Mike Schur, under his Fremulon banner, collaborates with Morgan Sackett, 3 Arts Entertainment’s David Miner, Micromundo Producciones’ Maite Alberdi and Masse Marcela Santibañez created and executive produces the series, along with Motto Pictures’ Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements. Shure has an overall deal with Universal Television, which serves as the network’s studio.
