Just eleven months after Bad Bunny’s 77th entry advertising billboardThe Puerto Rican adds a new top 10 hit to his slate of songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart, with “El Club” debuting at No. 2 on the Dec. 21 chart. The newcomer has expanded his reach to 78 top-10s in his seventh calendar year, dating back to his first in 2017.
“El Club” and its music video were released on December 5 on Rimas Entertainment. The song’s No. 2 spot as the week’s top debut is largely due to its streaming activity — official U.S. streaming numbers during the tracking week of Dec. 6-12, according to Luminate to 9.5 million. This number also placed it at No. 2 on the Latin Streaming Songs chart and a record 83 top 10 hits.
Benito’s second solo single of the year, “El Club,” follows “Una Velita,” a song about the devastating impact of Hurricane Maria in 2017 on his native Puerto Rico, which was featured on Hot Latin It ranked fourth on the song charts with sales of 6.6 million. Multi-metric statistics combines streaming data, digital sales and audience impressions into its formula.
Despite negligible first-week downloads, “El Club” moves up 11-2 on Latin digital sales, marking Benito’s 78th top 10 hit.
With “El Club,” Bad Bunny notches his 78th top 10 hit on Hot Latin Songs, further distancing himself from next competitor Enrique Iglesias, who last came out with “Fútbol y Rumba,” a collaboration with Anuel AA. (No. 10) made it into the top ten.

Additionally, “El Club” peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Benito’s 97th entry on the chart, still the highest ranking by a Latin artist. It also ranked No. 39 on the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. charts. U.S. chart, with 31 million global plays and 22 million views outside the United States.
