after creator X-Men ’97, Beau DeMeo Marvel Studios and Disney allegedly ‘stripped’ him from season 2 over ‘gay pride’ fan art he shared on Instagram Insights into the causes.

Marvel shared in a previous statement: “Mr. DeMeo was fired in March 2024 following an internal investigation. Due to the egregious nature of the findings, we immediately severed ties with him and he is no longer associated with Marvel.” has any relationship.

DeMeo is now attacking Marvel, claiming “these allegations of serious misconduct are false.” He also criticized Marvel for what he called a “toxic environment” and “near-criminal working conditions” that “pit individuals against each other and incite bigotry to ensure compliance.”

DeMeo was reportedly fired for allegedly sending “photos of himself in various states of undress” to several young employees.

The photos are said to show DeMeo “wearing a superhero costume and striking a sexually suggestive ‘hero’ pose that could serve as ‘inspiration’ for the show.” DeMeo allegedly molested an assistant and Emotional and physical abuse of staff.

In response, DeMeo shared on his OnlyFans subscription social platform: “The rumors circulating about me on the Internet are lies and offensive, but what is even more worrying is that they are a smear campaign. Designed to discredit me and conceal my true identity.

He went on to admit that “personality conflicts happen, especially in a creative environment like Hollywood,” and said the real issue in getting fired from Marvel was “being gay, black, and being open about it at Marvel Studios.” .

He said: “Ultimately, the offensive things that Marvel and other companies leak are meant to distract you from the things that really offend them. People like me dare to be honest with people like them. They want me to To be a seal of approval for this plan, I said no.

“They wanted to erase aspects of my character that conflicted with or were inconvenient to the misleading narrative they wanted to build. I refused. They tried to intimidate me with explicit and implicit threats.

“I was not intimidated. From that point on, everything they did was not just to silence me and discredit me, but to crush me and remind me of my role.

DeMeo also said: “I have receipts and witnesses, and as long as you stop forcing them to lie, you can continue to attack me with lies and misinformation, but we can become the ugliest and most annoying version… Or you can start like Act like a studio worthy of a show like “X-Men 97.”

DeMeo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, has filed for a speedy jury trial in Los Angeles Superior Court, asking that what he called an “unlawful non-disparagement clause” be removed from the writer’s exit documents.

The filing makes rather serious accusations against defendant Marvel Amination Studios, saying it sought to push DeMeo out and silence him.

“DeMeo intends to use OnlyFans to detail his previous experience at Marvel, where he witnessed and endured rampant discrimination and harassment during his time at the company,” the filing reads.

“The company was well aware that DeMeo had extensive knowledge of Marvel’s illegal and unsafe employment practices and therefore sought to silence DeMeo as part of its forced removal.”

“With the support of a team of experienced employment lawyers, Marvel deliberately included an unlawful non-disparagement clause designed to silence an openly gay black man and limit his statutory rights.

“In fact, Marvel invoked this unenforceable provision to justify its sinister removal of DeMeo’s credits from the critically acclaimed series X-Men ’97.”

Friedman continued: “There are only two possible explanations for why Marvel and Disney made Beau sign a nondisclosure agreement that clearly violated basic California law.

“It’s mind-boggling that hundreds of lawyers at Marvel and Disney advising over 250,000 employees just happened to make a mistake, or that Marvel was deliberately trying to silence Beau so they could completely Take control of why he’s no longer at Marvel, why he had his second season’s credits removed, and why he wasn’t invited to the awards show that nominated him for an Emmy for his hard work.

“Violating Beau’s legal rights in California will cost Marvel in this case, but more importantly, Marvel can no longer prevent the truth from emerging.”

The whole thing is getting uglier.
