Bring your girlfriends and margaritas! We’re finally back with Sweet Magnolias Season 4, Serenity.
For a special treat, Season 4 will feature the Silent Season from Halloween to Christmas.
While we’d love to watch it live this fall, we’re still excited to see Mulan and their family celebrate the season on the show for the first time.
The official synopsis is as follows:
“Sweet Magnolias Season 4 takes us from Halloween to Christmas, filled with surprising laughter, unexpected heartbreak and new resolutions along the way.
While dealing with the twists and turns of their romantic lives, Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen must also deal with the return of old enemies, the loss of great loves, and the pain of moving from the dreams of their past to the dreams of their present.
“As the men in their lives pursue their dreams and teenagers take restless steps toward adulthood, the Mulan family supports each other through creative problem solving, genuine commitment, and, as always, a weekly margarita.”
This synopsis intrigued us, but also concerned us. We don’t want any of the protagonists to lose their great loves, but we like the idea of achieving new dreams.
Sweet Magnolias Season 3 is the first episode to not end on a cliffhanger. The biggest drama is that Isaac still hasn’t told Noreen or Maddie’s kids that Bill is his biological father, which may play out this season.
It leaves a few opportunities open, including the hope of a reunion between Helen and Eric.
The last part of the synopsis hints that Ty and Annie might get a romantic arc as young adults. What’s more romantic than a kiss on New Year’s Eve? We’d love to see that.
Sweet Magnolias Season 4 sounds exciting as it will focus on women, men and teenagers and their dreams.
While we love seeing women pour their hearts out, one of the best parts of Sweet Magnolias Season 3 is watching the men’s friendships grow.
