Fear has released the trailer for its upcoming rape revenge thriller titled bystanderthe film festival was very successful.
The film won awards at the Nightmare Film Festival and the Horror Hound Film Festival. It received 11 nominations for “HorrorHound,” including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (Garrett Murphy), Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Judges’ Choice Awards.
In the film, “Claire and Gray are the quintessential millennial couple navigating a jaded world. Abby is the lovable and awkward teen.
When Abby attends a party hosted by Cody, a wealthy frat boy she has a crush on, the party gets out of control when Cody and the boys decide to drug, rape, and hunt several girls in attendance.
“When Abby’s path intersects with Gray and Claire’s, they form an unlikely alliance during a night of chaos and bloodshed as the three fight for their lives against the monsters at the university.”
Mary Beth McAndrews made her directorial debut with the film and shared in a statement: “bystander Jamie Alvey’s script has been close to my heart since I first read it.

The film stars Brandi Botkin, Bob Wilcox, Garrett Murphy, Jamie Alvey, Chaney Morrow and Hannah Firman. Alvey also wrote the film.
The film will be available on demand via Dread on January 21st.
