The speculation about Christopher Nolan’s next film is over. Universal revealed on Monday that Nolan will adapt OdysseyHomer’s epic poem, tells the story of Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan War.
“Christopher Nolan’s next film, ‘The Odyssey,’ is a mythical action epic filmed around the world using new IMAX film technology,” the studio said. “The film brings Homer’s foundational legend to the IMAX screen for the first time and will be released in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”
