Live music and events giant AEG Presents has appointed Weston Hebert as vice president of global touring.
Hebert joins the company from Live Nation where he worked as a talent buyer.
The executive’s new responsibilities will include driving tour strategy and initiatives in global markets, reporting to the President of Global Tours, Rich Shafer.
Rich Schaefer is promoted to President of Global Tours in October 2023.
Hebert will be based in AEG Presents’ Nashville office.
Weston Hebert began his career at WME Nashville, focusing on the international expansion of the agency’s rural tourism business.
Prior to joining AEG, Hebert served as a talent buyer for Live Nation Entertainment in the Great Lakes region, where he oversaw booking and programming for numerous notable venues, including the Andrew J Brady Music Center, The ICON Festival Stage, Bogart’s and The Bluestone.
Herbert has also successfully booked and promoted tours for emerging artists such as The Red Clay Strays, Gavin Adcock and Lawrence.
According to AEG, Herbert’s “deep industry knowledge, coupled with his proven track record in talent buying and promotion, makes him a highly respected leader in the global touring community.”
