Zach Bryan is turning his attention to the world of movies, hiring actor Matthew McConaughey to help assemble a new project called The Movie. Motorized breathing.
Bryan announced the new news in a pair of posts shared on Instagram on Wednesday morning (January 15). In the first video, he shared a clip from a new track ostensibly titled “Birdie.” Although no information is provided alongside the clip, in the carefully recorded acoustic clip, Bryan mentions the likes of Elliott Smith by name in his lyrics.
The second post, however, is much more substantial, enlisting the help of McConaughey (who starred in Bryan’s “Nine Ball” music video in 2024) to announce the upcoming film.
“This is not a movie about a band, this is a movie about a boy from Oklahoma,” McConaughey explained. “A boy who joined the Navy and loved to write. That article connected people, a lot of people. The film tells the story of a group of best friends who rode motorcycles across America for two weeks while recording their last major-label album. . Oh, you asked about the title of the movie? At this time, no further information about the details has been revealed Motorized breathingsuch as release date. However, it does serve as a continuation of a snippet of the song of the same name that Bryan shared on social media in early November.
