The Equalizer: Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz to headline potential CBS spinoff
Ten years after playing Harry Bosch in “Bosch & Bosch: The Legacy,” Tituss Welliver is set to take on a new leading role in a crime drama. Welliver and Juanne Feliz (Harlem) have been tipped as the two leads in a potential CBS spinoff of The Equalizer.
As Deadline exclusively reported last month, the Queen Latifah show will introduce two new characters in episode 516 of the current season, who could dominate their own series.
Welliver will play Hudson Reed, a former high-level CIA agent with a dark secret who connects with Robin McCall (Quinn Larsen) through an old mentor. Tifa) has contact. Feliz stars as Samantha Reed, who was trained by her father to become a weapons expert, a skilled martial artist, and a true chameleon while hiding a mysterious past.
Episode 516 is written by Joseph C. Wilson, who will serve as executive producer on the potential series, which will air in the spring. It is not designated as a backdoor pilot. CBS has been taking a more informal approach with its carefully curated spin-offs, introducing potentially major offshoot characters into storylines and integrating them into regular episodes of the Mothership series, The network has now done it twice with Fire Nation, first with Morena Baccarin, whose offshoot was picked up all the way to the series, and most recently with Jared Padda Rick (Jared Padalecki) cooperates.
