When Calls the Heart is taking a deep dive into the lives of Hope Valley teens for an hour, and we’re excited for this installment.
Ellie is about to turn 17, and When Calls the Heart season 12 episode 4 spoilers reveal that she is planning a birthday dance. However, some people are not excited about the idea. Will she have her first adult birthday party? We’ll have to see.
Nathan is also struggling with his daughter’s upbringing, so Elizabeth has to keep her hands full mediating between father and daughter.
Elsewhere, Rosemary and Bill team up again to investigate a train robbery linked to a mysterious gold coin. We definitely get some humorous scenes as they talk to their friends.
Finally, while Lucas was still estranged from his friends, he stepped in to help Edie. It could be that they grew closer as the ice between them melted.
Elizabeth works hard to make Ellie’s birthday dream come true and support Nathan
Elizabeth learns of Ellie’s secret birthday party early on and works hard to make it unforgettable for the teen.
Turning 17 was a special moment for Ellie because she was growing up and had her first crush. Her birthday party could be an integral part of the love triangle between Ellie, Earl Wyatt and Oliver.
We know Olivier was invited in the promos, and she did invite Earl Wyatt.
Ellie’s birthday is coming soon. Who’s ready to start dancing? 🕺💃

Elizabeth wants to help her because it’s the first thing they’ve done together since their relationship changed from teacher-student to more like family.
Spoiler photos and trailers hint that Elizabeth is brushing up on her dancing so she can teach the teens the steps. It would have been fun to see multiple dance scenes.
However, Nathan struggles with the fact that Ellie is no longer his little girl. Like many dads, he wanted to stop time and let her have slumber parties and scavenger hunts instead of boy and girl parties.
As Nathan learns to allow his daughter to become more independent, Elizabeth must balance respecting Ellie’s wishes while supporting Nathan.
They’ll likely end up on the same team, as this sneak peek hints that they both want Ellie to have the perfect birthday while practicing her dance moves.
It was so cute that Elizabeth worked just as hard as Nathan to make Ellie’s birthday perfect. While she’s not her daughter, they have a special relationship that will likely grow even closer.
Will Ellie’s birthday party dreams be dashed?
Ellie wants to look grown up and have a dance party with her friends, but weekly promos suggest Molly is leading the charge in canceling the event.
This doesn’t seem to be the case with Molly, except that her daughter Rosalyn had a heartbreaking experience at the prom, and she’s trying to save Ellie from a similar heartbreak.
It doesn’t explain why other adults think teenage dancing is scandalous. These teenagers are responsible and just want to celebrate an important event.
When Ellie hears the adults want to cancel her party, she hopes Elizabeth can save the world. Some adults are often loud and outspoken, but Elizabeth will most likely defend her.
This puts Lee in a terrible predicament.
Will the town find a compromise so Ellie can celebrate her birthday?
Bill and Rosemary make a delightful duo
Bill and Rosemary make a delightful pair as they investigate crimes together. They add to the comic relief, and thankfully they’re investigating a notorious robbery this time rather than the attempted murder of a friend.
Rosemary seems excited about the case, so it’ll be fun to watch her take the lead.
Without arousing too much suspicion, they needed to identify who paid with the Double Eagle.
This can be challenging because gossip spreads quickly in Hope Valley, especially if they start their search in a business center.
Almost everyone buys something there, but how many pay with gold coins?
We’re not sure who’s to blame, but Earl Wyatt just blew his way back into town. He mentioned that his father also worked on the railroad. Could this be a coincidence?
Will Lucas make new connections?
Lucas ended When Calls the Heart Season 12 Episode 3 feeling lonely and isolated.
As mentioned before, we hate what the series has done to his character. Chris McNally deserves better. We don’t even get press photos of him anymore. cry.
Spoilers tease Lucas comes to Edie’s aid. Since there had been a battle before, the ice must have melted.
This would be the ideal opportunity for Lucas to spend time with Edie, survey their shared land and see if they can compromise.
Lucas wants to respect her family’s ranch, and if he can acquire enough land, he hopes to rekindle his friendship with Lee.
Edie seems respectable, and although she’s headstrong, she seems like a good fit for Lucas so far. We’re eager to see how they interact.
Over to you, Hatice. What are you most looking forward to seeing in “You Can Dance”?
