We were impressed by the long-standing legal blonde prequel series.
Often, casting has problems with a beloved franchise, but you can say Reese Witherspoon and executives went to the end of the earth to find the right fit.
Reese shared a video on Instagram about Lexi Minetree.
“After watching a lot of incredible auditions for the Elle Prequel series on Prime Video, we finally found Elle,” Rees said.
“Today, I’m going to break the news myself! Meet Lexi Minetree,” she continued.

Rees must have a hard time passing Elle’s mantle to a new man.
But, as she goes out of her way to make sure the cast is right, we think it will be a rare spin-off.

Details about the project are largely shrouded in secrecy, but Lexi wrote a fairly small screen resume and reminiscent of Elle Reese who made two films.
Lexi has appeared in law and order: the Special Victims Department and the murders of Murdo, etc., so she is no stranger to the small screen.
Prime video confirmed that Elle received a series order in May 2024 and was relatively quiet, as many observers may think the show won’t pass.
Sometimes, new entries in the beloved franchise are announced and everything will be quiet because the creative or network no longer believes the project deserves the brand name.
Thankfully, audiences will experience Elle’s youth, which is worth the next step.
In 2001, legally blondes entered the theater and became a cultural phenomenon. Sequel, Legal Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde, followed by 2003.
Despite the hope of the third film for more than 20 years, the series seems to be a series of musicals.
However, changes occurred when the film writer was announced in 2020, and although the series also happened, the project seems to continue.
Legal blonde sequels and prequels about the right voice
There is a space for sequels and prequels in this world, and given that people are still calling out for more, there may be a lot of life in this franchise.
Reese is the executive producer of the series, which means she will have opinions in many ways, which is a huge win.
Although Elle’s premiere date has not been announced yet, if the camera is scrolling, we guess it will be sometime in 2026.
