We are not alone; the series won a good season two, one of the greatest and most successful new series.
Despite Morgan and Karadek’s “They Will/No/No” potential fantasy, the girl looks even more interested in Daphne and Oz’s future.
Behind each large ship are eye-catching second-hand ships
Another strong partnership with high potential is too good to pass if the series has to take a slow burning approach with Morgan and Karadec, then they don’t have to do this with Daphne and Oz.
Many people fall in love with high potential clients and incorporate the concept of romantic things, just like many other leading partners.
It’s a popular staple and one of the main hooks in the series, even if I’m more of a fan of them overturning it this time.
In the second half of High Potential Season 1, we see how they grow some seeds and start to base on how both develop into something more romantic.
For the clumsy Karadec, there is some clamping flicker that can bring this slow-burning thing for a while until the series decides when to want to pull the triggers onto them.
It’s all fun, but that’s why the show acknowledges Daphne and Oz.
They are not in the same constraints between Daphne and Oz, as if this alternative pairing would pull too much from the main couple.
Explore Daphne and Oz to make these minor characters more narrative
But if we want to be romantic in the series with characters we all know about with love, the high potential mastered on Daphne and Oz Island will not be hurt.
At this point, this will greatly help their character development.
High potential has a wonderful but underdeveloped cast.
For now, we don’t know much about their beloved secondary characters, as Daphne, Oz and Selena get caught in the background and consistently play supporting roles as the series leads.
Thankfully, the sophomore season will allow for a profound and meaningful exploration of all its characters in high potential.
I want to learn more about Daphne, Oz and Selena, while friendships in characters in the bullpen can only become stronger because we understand what makes everyone tick.
Daphne and Oz’s partnership is fascinating and audiences need to attract it more
The second half of the season has performed well in giving up information about Daphne and Oz and explores the depth of their bond as partners.
After losing his father, we learn more about the Wizard of Oz and how he participated in the weekly grief group, which he casually shared about the case. But he also knew that no one outside Daphne knew this.
It talks about how close the two are, and Daphne is Oz’s confidant.
It’s a short but beautiful way to get us deeper into more aspects of the Wizard of Oz, so he’s not just an active character, but a one-dimensional character.
This tidbit also shapes how we view his relationship with Daphne and the comprehensive integration of the partnership for them. Their connection has no superficial level at all.
Audiences don’t like their lifestyle and world, and we won’t see a lot of them on screen. But that’s more of the reason they need to push it to the forefront.
Mutual protection forms a perfect romantic evolution
When outsiders challenge or test them, the two’s outstanding moments are through reactions to each other.
They both strongly protect each other, without sparks igniting shippers’ passion before, watching how they grab each other with each other’s toes.
One of the most iconic moments of the Wizard of Oz season 1 was how much Ronnie got when he showed his mouth out of his mouth in high potential season 12 episode Protect.
Recognize that if he dared to disrespect Daphne again, he would wear his bullpen in that bullpen.
Hell, this is also the sexiest moment of the season.
More importantly, it highlights their partnership when it falls under the radar.
This is not the first time they have these moments. As we all know, Daphne is equally passionate and protective about the Wizard of Oz. We learn that she is a safe space for him.
We learn more about these minor characters through their engaging partnership
She has Oz’s hidden trust – his life, emotions and needs, which is two-way.
They know each other very well and appear in all these small ways, such as how they cleverly care for each other or refer to each other.
Oz is very sharp about Daphne’s anxiety and sweet/oral fixation, and Oz’s true “kindness” is a cape for him.
The second season can benefit by bringing audiences into both so that they can complete one of the best love stories in the series.
They even have a starting point to explore things more deeply. My heart is in my throat as others find Oz in the bottom chain of the pool in High Potential Season 1, Episode 13.
Oz’s traumatic experience builds a perfect exploration of Ozphne
Although high potential is dramatic, one cannot transcend the darkness of this series, and losing a person in the vicinity of everyone and in the cherished characters does not exceed the possibility of police procedures.
The possibility that someone as cute and sweet as the Wizard of Oz may lose his life to enhance the bet and drive the serial killer storyline is not far-fetched.
Thankfully, Oz is OK. The fear of almost losing him shocked everyone because it became a group effort to save him before time ran out.
But it was Daphne who breathed back to him frantically. We have never felt as scared and uneasy as she thought her life was when her fingertips slipped.
If high potential season 2 is not further studied, it would be a missed opportunity.
One can only imagine Daphne’s guilt that she did not come back when her partner needed it most, although it was not her fault.
It would be interesting to see Oz struggle with this traumatic experience that happened to him and nearly die.
This can also allow them to explore their partnerships more deeply as they help each other through the challenging effects of this traumatic event.
I’m locked in Daphne/oz, so hopefully, high potential season 2 will be delivered
Daphne and Oz’s potential is filled with anxiety, feelings, loyalty and support. They have a gold mine to explore the contents of both.
The series is further excavated and the series can be further developed.
