Spencer Dutton’s journey in 1923 was simply epic.
From the battlefields of World War I to the wilderness of Africa, it is now a desperate match, and his story has attracted fans.
According to Brandon Sklenar, these bets have never been so high.
The weight of the journey
After spending the entire 1923 season 1 learning to fall in love again, Spencer was violently separated from Alexandra, leaving him in an emotional free fall. So, where is his head when he struggles to come home?
“He took a lot of weight on his shoulders,” Skrener admitted. “He has a duty to go home, defend his family, and hopes that one family will come home, find his wife and live with her.”
This overwhelming sense of responsibility is for Spencer’s every move.
Sklenal continued: “His conscience and heart motivated him to have a large number.”
“The guilt of not being there for six years, responsible for his brother’s death, and now responsible for the sin of losing his wife… There is no greater motivation than love for his family.”
Facing the villain of 1923
Spencer encountered more than just the share of the enemy, but when he returned to Montana, he competed with his most dangerous opponents to date (Banner Creighton and Donald Whitfield).
Are they compared to the threat Spencer faced before?
“There is no comparison,” Sklenar said bluntly. “I don’t think anyone is [Spencer] It cannot be overcome. Sure, he is the most capable job. ”
Spencer is one of the most powerful characters in the Yellowstone universe, so it has become a dream to step into his shoes.
“This is the coolest thing in the world,” he said.
“When did you see a character like this? He’s like a fusion of all the iconic characters of the day – Clint Eastwood, Humphrey Bogart, Steve · Steve McQueen. But with the emotional depth and wisdom he has, it just makes him a little contemporary.”
Sklenar promises that this season will take Spencer into a deeper emotional venue.
He laughed: “This season really made him the yin and yang of man in such a powerful way.”
Light in the dark
The love story between Spencer and Alexandra was the highlight of the strong first season of 1923, offering hope in all the chaos. As they separate, is there light left in Season 2?
“It’s absolutely dark,” Sklenal admitted. “But light is born in the dark, so we can expect to see some light, too.”
This balance of love and hardship will drive Spencer’s story forward, and according to Sklenar, fans will not be disappointed with the rewards.
“The season’s ending is special,” he hinted. “They won’t be disappointed.”
While the road ahead is full of dangers, heartbroken and uncertainty, one thing is clear–nothing will stop Spencer Dutton from fighting home.
