I had a lot of reservations when NBC announced the package Los Angeles pick-up service during the Renaissance.
After Season 9, what else to say about the legal profession?
The once and for all derivative is excellent because it takes a completely different approach and tells a engaging world of story, away from the legal struggles drawn by the original series.
So I’m not excited about NBC’s decision to move the action to suit LA in Los Angeles.
It feels more like reheating an already tired format with some changes and calling it a derivative. Now, this is the way forward, but this franchise should be better than that.
Fortunately for the audience, my initial concern was wrong, as Suits La Season 1 Episode 1 reinvented the steering wheel very much.
This episode takes us deeper, and Ted Black is in crisis as some big changes take place in his life.
Suit LA starts
If anything, this episode feels like the season’s finale. It starts on the slow side, but turns left halfway and doesn’t stretch out from the gas until the last scene.
Of course, Stephen Amell is known for his arrows. After nine seasons of playing Oliver Queen, taking off the role will be a difficult task.
But Stephen’s career brought a convincing direction to the high heels, playing the opposite of Oliver.
While Ted may be as suitable and booting as Oliver, they are no longer different and I have to admit that he is far better than his arrow in a suit.
Ted’s past may derail his future, and Stephen brings a lot of depth to the characters we just met.
It takes skill and I can’t wait to see the role he’s doing in the rest of the series.
On the surface, Ted is a driverless lawyer who proves to be a negotiating giant, but the truth is that his personal life is in chaos.
We know a lot about the character, but somehow the series premiere taught us the value of a season.
The main drawback of the premiere is that the series doesn’t have a better timeline to differentiate between past and present, as some parts are confusing.
It seems that Ted has it all at one point, but through a series of wrong decisions, he lost it all. The series will revolve around him finding redemption and shooting down those who oppose him.
Turning to his brother Eddie for emotional support, highlighting Ted’s collapse behind the scenes as these moments show the original emotion.
Eddie is dead, it’s just Ted’s coping mechanism that is shocking and heartbreaking.
Ted is ready to face his demon
If Ted struggles at the beginning of the premiere, I don’t know how to describe his status at the end.
The betrayal of Stuart and Samantha comes out of the left field, but it is a successful incitement incident that carved many storylines.
Stuart, played by the unrivalled Josh McDermitt, is comfortable and smooth, but he will open up anyone he thinks is making a mistake on a dime.
He showed a strong connection to a stronger foundation in the first half of the premiere, but what went wrong with them?
Stuart must open Ted in this public way.
It was obvious that Stewart didn’t expect Ted to fight back, which made Ted shaky in court, more satisfying when he decided to cancel his friend and switch to enemy.
If the rest of LA Season 1 is about the blows of these two legal giants, then I’m all for it because it creates this messy narrative where things may change over a dime like the original suit Same.
The part of Samantha is a bit frustrating because it makes me question whether the suit Los Angeles secretly plays Katherine Heigl for Samantha Wheeler, which is in me There will be great success in the book.
Why did Samantha and Ted break up?
But, in hindsight, I was interested in discovering the reason why Samantha and Ted had such a bad relationship.
There is a lot of potential for stories here.
In the Suit Universe, the supporting characters feel at home, but Erica is ready to be one of the best people in the series.
Lex Scott Davis embodies the attorney who is determined to develop his career to perfection.
Erica is very loyal to Ted, but I can’t shake the feeling she initially designated Rick as a post.
In Erica’s eyes, she paid the membership fee and the position she deserved was fair, so it was unfair to throw these obstacles to her path.
We have a good view of Erica’s identity, not her behavior rather than firing Leah.
Everyone wants to succeed in the legal world, but Erica’s quick wit is supported by the heart of gold that she doesn’t allow people to see often.
The highlight of Leah is that she is willing to give those who give her another chance, and I hope this won’t come back to her face.
Leah hopes to use this as a learning experience, but something tells me that Stewart sees her as a weak link and offers a similar deal with Erica he offers.
At the end of the series premiere, the suit firmly established a worthwhile follow-up for the suit, and I hope it can continue to flip the script to prevent the show from getting old.
