review:
The episode begins with Nyla, Lucy and Celina hiking together. They are following Liam Glasser, serial killer Nyla vows to withdraw in episode 4. There, they realized there was a quick-play wildfire. They call it. Nira firmly believes in its Glaser. Nolan and Miles were allocated to evacuate communities near the trail. Celina was assigned to the evacuation shelter that James would also go to. Seth was assigned to the phone line to check everything about the wildfire.
Tim was removed from office when he called and asked him to pick up the boy from school. He agreed to let them hang out in his place until she got home. Meanwhile, James and Celina set up a shelter in the evacuation shelter. Kylie arrives, a little overly friendly with James, willing to volunteer at the shelter.
Nyla called Wesley, who called all the children while working remotely in court, and she asked about her legal rights to enter Glaser’s home on evacuation. She inspected his house without his permission and pointed out that she could be allowed as long as she insisted on being on top of the closet where people might hide. Glaser antagonizes Nira. His wife insists that he is innocent and LAPD is harassing him. After she left the house and the glass hand, Nira asked Nolan to follow them to the shelter and pay close attention.
In the shelter, glass hand check in. Miles was instructed to keep an eye on them, but when he heard about the crash, he lost sight. The crash comes from Kylie fighting someone who threatens her Six Street Devil. At that moment, Glaser said goodbye to his wife and disappeared. Nolan realizes that they can’t see him and it’s hard to call Nira to tell her. Nila is upset, and Angela calls on her to be too obsessed with the case.

James asked Kelly what happened to the person who threatened her. Together, he pieced together her out of what she might know about the recent shooting and tried to encourage her to speak out loud. Instead, she kissed him. Nolan witnessed, but left before he saw James pulling away and told Kelly.
Tim returns to the station and Lucy runs to him to let him know that he is robbing nearby. Together they rushed to his house to make sure the boys were fine. They eventually found the house was broken, but the Raiders were still inside. Ironically, the predators tried to claim it was their home and they were evacuating before Tim pointed out his photos. After a brief battle, they arrested the raiders and the boys came out and were safe.
In Glasser’s warehouse, Nyla and Angela realize that Glasser has prepared another car to exchange. They talked to homeless people nearby and found out he had a new victim. They rushed back to the shelter to face his wife, who shouted at them and refused to help them. Nolan talks to their children and says they are just trying to help and he should let the police know if there is anything wrong with his father. The child eventually admitted that Glaser had a swap car: a brown van. Glasser’s wife saw them chatting with the kids and blowing them, but Angela pulled up the camera lens and confirmed the brown van. At that time, the wife realized that Glaser was not innocent and told them where he might be.

Neila asks Tim and Lucy to get to Glaser’s position because they are the closest they don’t have time to wait. Lucy believes that Eagle Rock Road is listed as a safe for fire prevention and they should be able to get there quickly. They finished the game and were not aware that Seth is currently receiving a closed call about the wildfire. When Gray interrupted, Seth completely forgot the phone, rather than redisturbing him like he should. Tim and Lucy discovered that it was too late, the fire took the road and they were trapped. Gray is overwhelmed – there is no firefighting nearby, and there is no way to go out. He asked Seth to help get all the support and see if they could make the water drop. At that time, Seth realized his mistake. He went back outside to erase the evidence, proving that he had ever received a call about Eagle Rock Road.
No other choice, Tim and Lucy grabbed a fire shelter and found an open space to knock it down. Lucy asks to rest assured that they will be fine and the shelter will work. Tim was somewhat convinced that this might be the purpose and claimed that he was still in love with her. They hold each other and the fire passes through them. Later, once the fire continued to move forward, they poured out of the fire shelter and watched the destruction. Tim’s desperate gray on the radio tells him they’re safe. Gray was completely relaxed. Tim hugged Lucy.
Nyla, Angela, Nolan and Miles arrive at Glasser’s secret house. They are close to fire and have limited time. The smoke caused them to fall so that they could hardly see them in front of them. They enter the house and find Glaser’s victim, but are still alive, but have little consciousness. We hear Nyla and Angela fighting Glasser, which gives us a creepy narrative without visuals. Nolan fell from the floor into the basement. Miles took all the needles out of the victim and dragged him back to the store to ensure safety. In the basement, Nolan fights Glasser. Nyla finds Angela unconscious and calls her as Nolan fights. Glaser almost killed Nolan when Nira stepped in and let him put down his weapon. He was arrested – Nira finally puts her cuff on him!

At the hospital, Tim and Lucy talk about their near-death experience. Tim said his priorities were clear (Lucy was his top priority!), but Lucy said she was thinking about moving forward. She mentioned that she plans to take the sergeant exam within a few months. This means Lucy will no longer be Tim’s chain of command.
Nolan witnessed his opinion to James. Wesley said he should give James a chance to clean up himself. Unfortunately, James may not have a chance because in the final moments of the episode he drove and shot with Kylie.
Thought:
Ironically, the episode that really fits Bailey is something she barely has.
But wow. This episode is one of the most anxious plots in some time. I can’t believe how intense this is! It has it all: action, suspense and many emotional moments. I love the way they build tensions with wildfires. They didn’t waste any time entering the plot. Tim and Lucy’s parts put me on the edge of the seat, and I have something to say about Seth Ridley – more to say later!
I love how Angela and Nyla work together. Nira really needs her very well. When she finally asked Gray to take a break for a while and finally got off, I felt very relieved, except…
James!
Just when I thought this episode wouldn’t get more intense, the final drive-in shot put me in a strait. I waited seriously and anxiously for the next episode to see how everything worked. James is better off doing this – they better not slander his name with this cheating story!

(Anti) This week’s personality: Seth Ridley
Usually, I keep a space to praise a character who is really good in an episode. This time, I use it to hate characters.
At the start of the season, Seth was a full-time rookie I’m sorry for. I thought he was on his head, but his miserable backstory made me sympathize with him and take root for him. Obviously, it is all a lie, intended to gain goodwill with his companions and audiences.
I felt cheated. I feel betrayed. But I’m very interested in where the storyline goes. What’s wrong with Seth? Does he want to wash it off? Redeem yourself? Is he really there to help people? Will he lie? What about cancer?
This episode undermines any lingering empathy for the characters. It’s one thing to make mistakes as a rookie, but deliberately lying and hiding evidence makes him an obvious villain. What if Tim and Lucy die due to his mistake? Something tells me that Seth will secretly enjoy people who only have two people who know that his lies are not in the picture…
Aside from all the jokes, my absolute anger at Seth Ridley proves how Patrick Keleher is doing. Many honors for him.
But I’m going to say to Seth… count your days. They are limited!

A week’s relationship: Changfude
“Of course, I still love you!”
It’s obvious when Tim and Lucy fall in love with each other, and this episode proves it. Although Lucy may not have looked back and said these words, it was obvious that even Tim knew. The forest and hospital scenes are very poignant and show a clear path for this relationship. They aren’t there yet, but they are getting closer.
Lucy just needs to be a sergeant first!
