NBC’s Grosse Pointe Garden Society continues to ride wildly in episode 2 “Pests” and offers more twists, secrets and morally questionable decisions than ever before. If the pilot sets the tone for a juicy suburban thriller, this episode treats the show as an essential guilt, full of dark humor, mystery and enough emotional depth to keep us investing.

Today’s Chaos: Messy Relationships, Dead Dogs and Unnecessary Houses
Alice still convinces someone to murder her dog, pick up the ashes and get revenge on the series. When she realized her financial situation was horrible, her husband Doug forced her to move into her mom’s rental house. She refused, feeling that Doug was slowly shaping her into the life path of her parents and vowed that she would take back her job so they could continue to realize their dreams. Doug could feel that Alice wasn’t as dedicated to the relationship as his, and even suggested that she loved Molly more than he did, but Alice insisted that she was there.
Just when Catherine thinks things won’t get worse, she crosses the road with Gary’s pregnant wife, an unwelcome twist that turns her inner gui into a full-blown panic. This revelation has struggled to cope with the impact of their romance, which adds another layer of regret. Facing Gary, she asks to know how to live with herself after she has done everything she has done. But he quickly flipped the script, hit her in the hurt, and she was deceived, what made her better? Catherine desperately hopes that he can get rid of life, but he has the upper hand. If she worked too hard, he could blow up her marriage in an instant.

The final twists: guns, lies and a corpse that will not be buried
At the same time, it is shocking that Officer Joel is actually the adoptive father of Xiaobird’s son, and the two are involved in a secret incident. He eventually helped her cover up the murder, turning what was originally a confession into an unexpected alliance.
In the last flash, the core quad faces another problem: their buried corpses need to be moved again, as the koi pond is installed in the garden. Just when we don’t think things will get more complicated, Joel (Little Bird’s Love and son’s adoptive father) puts the dead guy’s phone in Gary’s high-end shoe store. Are they setting up Gary? Or is his moving body?

Final Thought: Chaos keeps getting more messy
Bird’s reckless confession, Catherine’s life is trapped in a vibrant nightmare, Brett’s knowledge of Alice and coveted revelation about Doug, all building an explosive path ahead. If Episode 1 is planting seeds, Episode 2 is where the weeds start taking over the seeds – annoying, uncontrollable, and so fun to watch.
