If you’ve been floating on the internet about the theory about this Hallmark series, you know people are harder to understand than necessary.
The way home page Season 3 Episode 10 (click the link to the episode’s scene review) brings Colton Landry back to the table, giving us the answers to long-term questions.
His understanding of time travel is key to many things that have happened in the series so far, and the notion of nonlinear time travel is key to tie all of them together.

We heard that the actors and staff have cried for a while now and now we know why. Jacob’s disappearance is crucial, as is Colton’s death, and to understand this story we need to know what he knows.
Now we have done it.
Before his death, Colton was able to put all the debris together from his early life to his impending death, his granddaughter, crying not with words but with tears to the eyes on his shoulders.
Time travel is not linear, which is difficult to understand. You won’t go back to March 1999 and then back to April 1999.
On the way home season 1, this seems impossible. Kat wants to go back and resolve the mistakes she made there, but the pond won’t let her.
Once you go back, you can’t go back before the time you’ve been there. Or something like that.

Do I mean logic? The way this story develops is logical, but it is magical.
Finally, when we first met him in 1999, it was so exciting to wear Colton’s shoes. Every time he put another piece in a puzzle, a swell of music makes accompanying tears impossible.
Alice goes back to play Mash with Kat and Elliot, making the whole thing work. Alice had to arm her other time travel adventures to talk to Alice in the pond. Playing Mash was earlier in Kat and Elliot’s friendship with her, but later on with her.
Colton began to recognize Alice in 1974. Of course he did it. She was very important to his love story with Delilah, where she was in the most cherished time of his life.

When she first traveled to 1999, he was not indifferent to her existence. He didn’t let him move on because she had told him not to, this turning point in fate we didn’t know before.
He thought she was unique and special, and even understood that Kate’s love for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland books might have something to do with Alice’s existence. His goodness is knowing that she was young, but he wasn’t ready to act cautiously with the wind either.
But when he saw her in the pond, he knew- she was a time traveler. He even wondered why she lied to him those years ago.
But this is not Alice he will meet later, so she tells him not to question Alice he will meet, because That Alice will be brand new to time travel.
Finally it makes sense, why he never talked to her about what we can see after the two of them were so close in 1974. In her linear way, we saw this story through Alice’s eyes in 2023-25.
Later, after Jacob disappeared, Evelyn provided him with financial assistance. He didn’t want it, but visited his old friend and reunited him with a portrait of “My Catherine” hanging from her fireplace. When he saw this, the remaining pieces of the puzzle fell in place.

He recalls his friend Rose, who looks like a woman in the painting. He remembers seeing her in 1816 and how she thanked him for saving her brother. If that was her brother, it was his Catherine and his Jacob.
He was even more rude when he found Alice in the pond again. He was happy to share it with someone who knew he remembered and even asked if she was his granddaughter.
That scene is incredible, and it is his understanding of the coming death that makes his story even more pressing.
When Alice tells him that Jacob will return, Colton thought he would see his boy again, but Alice couldn’t hide the truth in her eyes. Alice desperately wanted to tell him everything to see if she could stop it, but he knew the path they were traveling would lead to her and he wouldn’t change it for the world.
He felt comforted because he had to know her from her time and even made music with her during two different periods.
If Del is still upset that he never told her that she now knows that the last day of his life went on a last trip to find the Rose, his Catherine so that they could say it again before she left and he died.

He didn’t know he would never have the chance to tell DEL the truth, but I dare guess that when he died in Kat’s arms, he knew that one day Del would learn the truth.
That’s the time.
Alice needs her grandmother to believe what she knows-Colton has nothing to her. He chose Delilah and if she didn’t come back alone, music would be his way back.
Learning the courage to hold the girl’s hand and jump into the past by yourself. The greatest day of her life – the day they got married, she had to see her Colton again.
Colton must also see his son again, cementing an internet theory that the Colton we see and close is not the same as the Colton known since 1999.
He was also traveling, when he held Jacob’s face in his hands and told him that he would always love him no matter what happened, and it was a future Colton who had last seen his son.

Although not resolved, the mystery of KC has been enhanced. KC is from the future, but not Alice and Max’s kids.
KC does discover Susana’s will, she leaves everything to Landris and hopes to share it with Kat on the way to Season 2, but Kat starts saving Jacob before KC has a chance.
It makes sense to put it in a folder until the pond gets stuck with KC’s time travel. KC obviously met with Sam as a lawyer to answer questions about will and whether it could stop Lewis.
KC blackmailed Lewis as KC expected Jacob to do the same thing to him in the mistakes of the vineyard.
KC also said that the letters DEL had received should be stopped because the will has been recovered. But who is KC? We still don’t know, and this is my guess, and it will be revealed through another nonlinear advancement in this time travel story.
Jacob had to master his pain, and he decided to do it elsewhere.

When he learns that Susana has left the farm, he takes off again, which begins another mystery. Internet detectives wonder if the boy would jump into the pond after leaving the baby in the basket, probably Jacob, and now I want to know that too.
If Jacob jumped back to 1975, he could make sure Elliot was safe before taking Elliot’s mom into the pond. Anyway, it’s worth exploring.
Yes, the girl Alice quoted by TS Elliot met on the way to Episode 9 of the homepage Season 3 is more likely than Elliot’s mom. When she left Elliot, she took Landry to travel – making sure Landry is now part of the puzzle.
Who is Sam? All we know is that he is likely a time traveler. When Del is worried about Jacob leaving to save his family’s pain, Sam tells Del everything is fine.
How did he know? He was just something he told her – standing next to the pond.
It seems that he has been to our future before. Given what we know now, it means he is from the future, but the interesting thing about time travel is that someone in the future may come from us now, but when they go over and visit us, we don’t know.

He could also be Colton’s brother, but if Jacob hadn’t jumped with Elliot’s mother, it would have taken him to the past, so he still couldn’t see our future.
unless. Unless there is always.
What does restoring the swing of the pendulum from the past to the future mean for the program rules?
Have they changed? Is the restoration balance of the restoration pendulum open in the past and future?
Since the clock was placed on the wall in the 1920s, the future would not be open to people from the past, but if that was how it works, then that doesn’t mean people from that time have not come forward before they are incapacitated. Just an idea!

The clock comes from the future, because the TS Eliot poem Norton was not published until at least ten years later. But I don’t want it to introduce travel to the future.
It may open up the exploration of how memory and experience affect reality, which suggests that what travelers have learned in the past has more impact on the present than any physical change.
According to my research, Burnt Norton also describes an eternal garden where the past wanders, untouched and deeply present. If the show introduces a place or moment where time is “stagnant”, then it could be a restricted space outside the normal time travel rules, i.e. where all moments coexist.
Could this be the development direction of the series, or the representative of the pond?
Frankly, I don’t know, but the story blends so beautifully on the way to HOPHER 3 BINALE, I have no doubt that the author knows where they are going to take us.
Quote this poem definitely fits Kat and Elliot, who have to visit the past to understand what each other means.

Finally, they realize that their expectations and ideals overwhelm their real-life relationships, and they are ready to let go of the past and embrace their future.
If there is any home theme, that’s it. I don’t believe there will be any real villain, only people at various stages of their existence try to figure things out.
Even Cyrus Goodwin correctly put his future in Susana’s hands, giving her full autonomy to do what she felt most about with Lingermore. It shows who he became so bad too long. Finally, he is a cockkey way that Goodwins might be proud of.
If that miracle is revealed, who knows what else?
OK I know it’s a long and long exploration of the episode, but it’s still not stated, but it’s your turn. Click on the comments and tell me what you took away from the finale, the way you wish you were home Season 4 next!
