Many viewers were shocked when Max canceled the sex life of college girls on Tuesday afternoon.
The comedy series is rare because its true performances are Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp and Alyah Chanelle Scott.
In short, the series has swept the world of many televisions, which rarely happens.
The cancellation happened a few months after the end of the third season and everyone wondered where the series would go next.
Most storylines are well closed, rather than being used to the cliffs we are used to, it is suggesting that the creatives are not sure about the show’s prospects.
The teen-centric Max series doesn’t tend to be tested by time, which is rebooted after the sophomore season by gossip girls and little scammers.
As a result, it is very frustrating that the ladies of Essex College’s last years on campus will most likely not be televised.
The good news is that in the fourth season of the sex life of a female college student, the door has not been completely closed, and the deadline mocked Warner Bros. TV has been thinking about the show’s potential home.
Female college student’s sex life is facing an uphill battle, looking for a new home
Let’s avoid one thing: moving a series to a new home is a painful and complex process that almost always fails.
However, there have been many successful stories over the years, so the idea that it happens gives at least a little hope that the new plot can achieve.
Over the years, Netflix has saved many canceled shows, including Peacock’s Girls5eva. Of course, the series hasn’t found much success and has been in trouble for years, so we shouldn’t expect more plots to be produced.
But some shows, especially those with teen-centric storylines, resonated with Netflix audiences, meaning there is a lot of potential here to rebrand the brand as Netflix originals and distribute it to most territories the platform arrives.
Many of these countries have never heard of the show, so it is wise to gain the right to at least one season to determine if the audience has swallowed it.
While I prefer the weekly launch of the show on Max, this is one of them, which will benefit from all episodes of the first day.
I hate to admit this, but if it makes the show another home, I go all out.
Co-creator Mindy Kaling has a long-term relationship with Netflix, which could sugar up the deal for Netflix Bigwigs to open its checkbook and take the show on the way.
Max never made this series a hit
There is still a lot of potential to bring the show into hits, and Max may have given three seasons but hasn’t taken advantage of its success.
Promotion is everything, the third season is everywhere and ends up with a little big anfare, which leads me to believe many fans don’t even know it’s back.
