2025 short film Call me after dark Provide his last victim with a blue case of homicide police. Writer/director Kris Salvi briefly introduces Memory Lane through St James Interary with the ending of Moocher Minnie. This is the best movie theater. Salvi is mixed with the late David Lynch, with a profound taste, nostalgic with ghostly images.
story
Detective Chuck Klein arrived too late, so she saved Laurie in a bullet-like restaurant. For the waitress, he had a hole in his head, because his head had caused side-length damage, and it was too late. Laurie’s last words are touching and heartbreaking.
Klein is destined to be eternal attachment to the dying/dead girl.
actor
Justin Thibault is Chuck Klein.
Kayla Garabedian is Laurie.
Deborah del Negro is a waitress.
What works
Salvi uses music exist Call me after dark As an emotional booster. It can almost be seen as the fourth wall that guides the audience in the direction Salvi wants them to go. St James Hospital (Calloway Sprendid Calloway version.) tells us that instead of conversation, the girl with Chuck is dead.
Johnnie Ray and four young men, their “little white cloud” convinces us that Chuck is the cloud. Laurie lost her grief.
Last: Burnette of the Pacific and Moocher Moocher’s Moocher suggest that all the participants in this vignette are actually dead. Including Klein.
No dialogue required
Salvi is here wise to bring the conversation to an absolute minimum. He lets Christopher Di Nunzio as the photographer/editor uses the lynch-ian look of the film to flow to the audience. Call me after dark No (sic) Turn on fire with mebut it has Feel.
judgment
Call me after dark It is a complete 4.5 stars. This whimsical blues is soaked in the miniature that the murder story is a bit outstanding. A mix of music and a light atmosphere, it is a very satisfying story of regret and pain.
In just over 9 minutes of running time, it was a nail hit firmly. This movie should be in the festival any time now.
