Stephen King’s short story adaptation in 2025 monkeysurprisingly good. Surprisingly, the success rate of King adaptation is very low. Most people completely missed the mark, some approached. But no cigars.

Writer/director Osgood Perkins manages to make this championship a winner. He mixes black comedy with top horror movies. He may need to leave the C-bone at home. Disney owns that monkey, but his horror.

    story

Twins Bill and Hal lost their father but won the monkey. A musical background for playing drums is “I do like being by the sea.” Unfortunately, every time the monkeys hit the drums of those people who died. fear.

The twins threw things down the well, and the boys grew up and kept moving forward. Bill has vacated the scene and Hal has the last moment with his son Peter.

    The monkey returns and follows.

    Main actor

    Theo James is Hal…

    Tatiana Maslany is Lois.

Christian Convery is the young Hal.

    Colin O’Brien is Peter.

    Rohan Campbell is Thrasher.

    Blink, you will miss it

Adam Scott is Captain Petey Shelburn.

    Elijah Wood is Ted.

    Sarah Levy is Aunt Aida.

Osgood Perkins is the bargaining uncle.

    Honorary Referral

    Zia Newton plays Dwayne.

    Kingston Chan is Lieutenant Pepper.

    No small part

    Tess de Degendein is Barbara.

    The monkey behind the scenes

this monkey Very well written, and despite going around detours from the source short story, it works fine. Maybe it was these detours that made the film work so well. There are real comedy moments monkey. These are mixed with those scenes that make you laugh and recoil at the same time.

Even stuffed a little while trying to curb the horrifying laughter.

DP Nico Aguilar presents all the correct colors and shades. The bright scenes are even pushed forward, allowing us to realize that monkeys can be killed anywhere.

Edit Graham Fortin and Greg Ng have no one foot error here. Everything fits like a puzzle. speed.

The VFX and the practical FX are excellent. Perhaps there is no better than Aunt Ada’s death. Man, those two punches? Just brilliant.

    it works

Perkins allows us to find our own gag reflex here. His grasp of the story was nervous and strange. We are trapped in the stories he tells. Their personal loss of innocent boys makes the story work. Each death is stranger than the previous one.

One victory here is the way the monkey manages to change its expression. The eyes go from manic to murder. Confused, amused and kind. The list continues and it is this diversity that helps sell movies.

    judgment

monkey It is all efforts of all 4 stars. It loses a complete star because of its measurement and intentional religion. It tastes bad and is out of the story itself. Despite this, I liked the movie very much and bought things straight after renting it on Prime.

Is it written so closely and puts personal feelings aside? I like it. monkey It is the best horror movie released this year. Check it out and see what you think.
