Shay Whigham (waco, perry mason) and Will Barton (yellowstone park, outer scope) has joined the cast of a Paramount+ limited series about the death of JonBenét Ramsey. They join the previous cast Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owenwho will play JonBenét’s parents, Patsy Ramsey and John Bennett Ramsey respectively.
Whigham will play District Attorney Alex Hunter, an acquaintance of the Ramsey family. Patton will play Lou Smith, a law enforcement legend who handled more than 150 homicides in Boulder Springs.
JonBenet Ramsey Explore the tragic unsolved murder of the eponymous six-year-old beauty queen. The show follows the Ramsay family before and after the tragedy, as they experience the loss of a child while also facing a frenzy of media attention that has led to the national spotlight.
At the heart of the show is the story of Patsy (McCarthy) and John Ramsay (Owen) – exploring the unbreakable partnership of these two complex people – as husband and wife, as mother and father – who The story of a man who had promised himself and his children a perfect, privileged life, only to have it ruined one Christmas night in 1996.
