For those of you who enjoy crazy true crime stories, Peacock has a series of documentaries you’ll want to watch titled the world’s most notorious killer.
The series delves into the chilling stories of five famous international murders, including first-hand accounts from individuals close to each case and those seeking justice.
Each episode will “re-examine a different case against some of the world’s most notorious criminals and feature first-hand accounts from former detectives, family members, attorneys, forensic scientists and journalists all working to bring these murders to justice” By law.
Stories explored in this series include:
101: Murder in the West – The case of a missing girl leads to a horrific discovery: an ossuary beneath Fred and Rose West’s house in Gloucester, England, and several twisted family secrets.
102: Vienna Strangler – A series of puzzling deaths in Vienna, Austria, has been linked to murders in Los Angeles, California. Austrian celebrity Jack Unterweger has been revealed as the world’s first transatlantic serial killer, who had been covering his murders and hiding in plain sight.
103: The Belgian Monster – Six Belgian girls mysteriously disappeared at the hands of “monsters”. But suspicions soon began that Belgium’s notorious serial killer might be working for a powerful international pedophile ring.
104: Australian Murder – Lynette Dawson, a loving wife and mother who disappeared from her home in Australia in 1982; days later, her husband Christopher Dawson moved his teenage nanny into their home. It has been 40 years since the case was finally solved.
105: Snake – Southeast Asian tourists are mysteriously murdered and Charles Sobhraj confesses to the gruesome murder. Now freed, convicted murderer Sobhraj reveals a shocking new story in an exclusive US interview.
