Adam Scott (parks and recreation centers, severance pay) and Danielle Deadweiler (until, Stop 11) will star in the film SaviorA dark comedy thriller about a suburban couple whose lives spiral out of control after they rent their garage to mysterious tenants.
The film is currently filming in Los Angeles. Kevin Hamedani Directed from a script he co-wrote Travis Bateswas included in the 2018 blacklist.
“Route 10’s” Matt Smith and Dan Gedman are financing and will produce the film. Savior marks the first film produced under their new label. Additionally, Adam Scott and Naomi Scott will produce on behalf of Great Scott Productions, Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D’Souza will produce for Invention Studios, and Bradley Gallo and Michael Helfant will produce for Amasia Entertainment. Dead Weiler, Alyssa Lorenbeck and Josh Sutherre will executive produce.
Scott will next appear in Season 2 of Apple TV+ severance paywhich he executive produces. The performance earned Scott nominations for an Emmy, Screen Actors Guild Award, Golden Globe, Film Independent Spirit Award and Critics’ Choice Award.
Scott will also co-host “The Severance Podcast” with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott, which will be a companion show to the upcoming second season that he will produce through Great Scott Productions. In addition, Scott will star in and direct his first feature film, double booking,beside Sterling K. Brown, Zazie Beetzand Alexandra Daddario. He will also produce the film through Great Scott Productions.
Deadwyler is currently earning rave reviews and numerous awards for his work on Netflix piano lessons. She will next be seen in thriller continuepremiering on Netflix in December.
