In a fan-filmed video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Adele was performing “When We Were Young” when she encountered Dion, who was sitting in a side box at the 4,100-seat venue. The moment turned exciting when Adele started crying while hugging Dion. The two superstars exchanged a few words before the legendary Canadian singer held Adele’s face and kissed her hand. Adele then waved to nearby fans before returning to the stage.

This isn’t the first time Adele and Dion have crossed paths in Sin City. In 2018, Adele attended Celine’s second residency at the same venue. In an Instagram post at the time, the “My Heart Will Go On” artist expressed her gratitude after meeting Adele backstage at the show.
“I didn’t get to attend all the shows but I’m so glad Adele was at one of them…I love her so much!!” Dion wrote in a post that has since been deleted.
Adele also shared her excitement after meeting Dion. “Queen Celine! What a show and definitely the highlight of my life, thank you so much for your attention to the audience and your crazy humor. Happy New Year, lady x,” the hitmaker wrote on Instagram.
Her Weekends with Adele will run until the end of November. Earlier this year, Adele said she would be taking a long break from music after her fall residency.
“I just need a break. I’ve been building a new life for myself for the past seven years and this is the life I want to live now. “I want to live the life I’ve been building and I’m going to miss you so much. “
