Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones star in the first trailer for director Brady Corbet’s critically acclaimed historical drama fauvism.
A24 released the film on December 20 after the film premiered at the Venice Film Festival over the summer. Other cast members include Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacey Martin, Emma Laird, Isaac de Bancolet and Alessandro Nivo pull.
fauvism It focuses on Laszlo Toth (Brody), a Jewish architect who immigrated to the United States with his wife Oz Seibert (Jones) after World War II. Upon their arrival, Toth meets a mysterious wealthy client (Pearce) who plays a key role in the architect’s path.
“Welcome to America,” Brody says in the trailer, after a montage of moments from his character’s life.
Corbett (sound of lux) directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Mona Fastvold. Nick Gordon, DJ Guggenheim, Andrew Lauren, Trevor Matthews, Andrew Morrison and Brian Young serve as producers.
