More than a decade after it was first launched, Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has announced the closure of his Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee line.
Kramer announced the news in a message shared on the coffee brand’s website on Friday (November 29), saying there is “no realistic alternative” to replace the coffee brand that is closing.
The message read: “To all the loyal Rockin’ & Roastin’s subscribers and my coffee-loving fans along the way, we are deeply saddened that we have had to make the decision to close the Rockin & Roastin’ Coffee business.”
After years of struggling as our business recovers from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, significant increases in operating costs, and the tragic and painful loss of my wife Linda, there is no realistic option but to close our well-known business. .
Cramer ended the post by noting that all orders received by Saturday, November 30th will be filled, but no orders will be accepted after that.
Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee was first launched by Kramer in 2012 after years of traveling as a touring musician and many cups of bad coffee.
“I started simplifying my experience and becoming a coffee expert,” he said. “I knew I had to come up with something that would satisfy even the pickiest Java enthusiast.
“After countless studies (I’m probably an honorary chemist now), countless batches of samples and printing on nearly every continent, my dream of rocking and roasting coffee was born. The result? Some of the finest, purest on the planet of coffee that is sure to satisfy the tastes of any “coffee lover”.
In 2013, Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee reached a hotel partnership agreement; in 2016, Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ Cafe opened in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, about 40 miles from Boston, the birthplace of Aerosmith.
The news comes just months after Air Smith announced that Steven Tyler would be withdrawing from touring due to ongoing vocal cord damage.
“We saw him struggle despite having the best medical team around him,” the organization wrote in a message on social media in early August. “Sadly, it has become clear that a full recovery from his vocal damage will not be possible. As a band of brothers, we have made the heartbreaking, difficult but necessary decision to retire from the tour.
Aerosmith thanked their crew and team and had a final message for fans. “Final thanks to you – the best fans on earth. Play our music loud now and forever. The dream continues. You make our dreams come true,” they wrote.
