I suspect anyone is more excited to receive goat feces in the email than Richard Carmody. Of course, he was more eager to examine the feces under the microscope than to open the college letter by passing the test scores. Not surprisingly, he passed the ball in bright colors – winning the distinction, which made him a prestigious research program. The entire Skeldale family was excited for him, but Carmody himself couldn’t fully share the excitement.
Siegfried was surprised by his decision not to accept the research position. The young veterinarians would rather stay in Skeldale and contributed to the war in the fields rather than in the lab. Siegfried heard that he was not going to leave. He has become accustomed to getting the boy around and enjoying working with him, especially because in Siegfried’s words, Carmody has “scientific brain and veterinary intelligence that matches his own wisdom ”. I’m sure that when he said at the breakfast table, it’s likely to bother James and Tristan, he’s just kidding.
The goat feces exposed a large amount of eggs under the microscope, Sigfried and Kamodi suspected the roundworms, and rushed to Grant Manor to treat the animals. But what Siegfried didn’t expect was not Mr. Grantly, but his funny sister greeted him. Kamodi quickly explores Siegfried’s shift in behavior and points out signs of attractiveness – emanating students, cheeks – symptoms of her own whenever Doris is around . But, to be fair, Sigfried still manages to form coherent sentences, which is more than Kamodi says when he surrounds his desire object.

Carmody was eager to inform Ms. Grantley that she was not currently in the bonds and continued to praise him for his praise, and he once again surpassed him, totally unaware of the approximately one hundred lines in the process. Siegfried felt very embarrassed, but in the end, the opportunity with Ms. Grantley didn’t help. They share a drink, exchange simple conversations, and Siegfried even offers to read the book she wrote and express his thoughts on it. He seemed eager–even a little charming.
But my dear fellow Siegfried and Audrey’s shippers are not afraid. It makes perfect sense that Siegfried will be attracted to Ms. Grantley. Compared to most women in Darrowby, she has a great capacity for social equality, including our beloved Mrs. Hall. Ms. Grantley is in many ways the kind of women society tells Siegfried to be interested in him. But what he really longs for is another matter. The bond and self-evident understanding between Siegfried and Mrs. Hall cannot be compared with the surface-level attraction he shared with Ms. Grantley. Beyond that, viewers usually invest more in relationships that violate conventions, and the combination between Siegfried and Ms. Grantley certainly won’t.

That said, it is also worth considering that just a few episodes ago, Mr. Bosworth compared his lonely life with that of Siegfried. While we all know that Siegfried is completely different from Bosworth, it is very likely that Siegfried has been reflecting on this comment, which makes him think about a marriage proposal again More open, especially because of Mrs. Hall Sr. their own little family. His attraction to Ms. Grantley was at least partly a reaction to it.
But what reassures us most is that most viewers (proves here) Obviously, Siegfried and Audrey became the final game. There is also one person who is excited about the prospect of Siegfried and Grantley pairing the lady.
When Siegfried did not attract Goat Lady, Mrs. Hall was called to the official warden business. An airplane appears to have thrown an unidentified object into a field near Darrobe. Although Mr. Bosworth carefully avoided saying the word “bomb”, it was obvious that he was worried that this was exactly what they would find. The following protocols are followed, and both watchmen must evaluate the situation before reminding the home guard.
With Mr. Bosworth sticking to his rulebook as if his life depends on it, Mrs. Hall remains calm and takes a more practical approach. As fearless as ever, she looked at the objects scattered in the fields without hesitation. Her quick checks show that they are nothing more than reserves – canned potatoes, soap and other essentials. The brands are British, suggesting they were dropped from one of their own planes. She suspected the pilot was just unloading too much weight to save fuel.

But Bosworth doesn’t believe it. He is still worried that it might be a German plane, and worse yet, Nazi spies might parachutize from it. Despite his admirable emphasis on his role, he tends to let his excessive correctness get his way. Fortunately for him, Audrey balanced his strict manners there – making him (and everyone else) flood from the spiral panic.
Later in the episode, it was revealed that Mr. Bosworth’s dog Bingo (dead several episodes before) was poisoned by mouse bait, except Doris , this girl Carmody fantasized. Since her employer never gave her proper instructions, he did not tell her that the poisoned rats must be much deeper than those who died of natural causes to prevent other animals from being excavated and poisoned again. Unfortunately, what could happen in bingo. Given Mrs. Bosworth’s rather special nature, Mrs. Hall volunteers introduced him to the news. Despite initial anger at the revelation, he would soon calm down – without a doubt, due to Mrs. Hall’s near-magic ability to deal with people.
Mrs. Hall then apologized to Bosworth for about the same thing as he was when they investigated objects that fell from the plane. She revealed to him that she had been feeling it on Edge lately because of her concern for her son Edward. He was far away from home in service on the battleship and she didn’t hear him often. She hopes she can protect him, but what she can really do is wait and see, hope it’s best.

Mrs. Hall allows herself to encounter truly vulnerable moments, which does not happen often. It was totally heartbreaking to hear his own usefulness and he admitted that she sometimes felt “like a crushed box stuck together.” In most episodes, the depth of Mrs. Hall’s emotions is largely self-evident. She fixed everything around her, but we rarely see what is really going on inside. While the upcoming episode will learn more about her inner world, I sincerely hope that Season 6 will devote more time to her character and the struggles she quietly brings.
This episode was announced by Carmody, who will accept a research position in London after all. The conversation with Siegfried eventually changed his mind. Mrs. Hall noted that Kamodi never really had a place to call home or family depend on, Sigfried began to understand why the young veterinarian was so hesitant, and now he has found it in Skyldale. So Siegfried assured him that it was clear that he would always have a place here and that he could always return. This simple but meaningful guarantee gives Kamodi confidence to seize the opportunity. Excited, he even tried his best to call Doris and invited her out for a drink.
This may not be the strongest episode of the season, but it gives most of what we like All creatures are very big – Charming character moments, sincere emotions, gentle humor, most notably excellent performances performed by truly outstanding actors.
