Amuse, a Sweden-based publisher and record label co-founded by former Warner Music Group executive Diego Farias, has launched an in-house synchronization division to create content for film, television and Advertising develops licensed music.
The new department will be Daniel Coplestona veteran in the music industry who has worked in [PIAS]the independent record label family, and the independent label Cooking Vinyl Records.

Amuse said the creation of the sync division is expected to expand opportunities for self-published artists to reach new audiences and generate additional revenue streams through sync placement.
Taking a data-driven approach to music distribution, Amuse has been growing its licensing catalog, which now includes more than 8,000 Recordings from over 300 artist. Notable names in its catalog include Yot Club, Emei, Stella Cole, Ugly Hotel, Mind’s Eye, Julie, Vundabar and 80purpp.

The company is now looking to leverage sync licensing to offer clients additional services, including funding and revenue optimization, artist marketing and publishing, in addition to existing artist services. Amuse artists retain control of their masters and future releases.
