anjelica houston Will star in upcoming live-action/animated hybrid feature film Christmas Witch Trials at La Befana.
The film is based on a popular Italian folktale about “a group of children who kidnap the legendary Christmas Witch (Huston) and put her on trial to undo her annual judgment.”
david james bullock (The mother of all shows) and Golf TV Melissa D’Agostino co-wrote and co-conceived the project Matt Campagnawho will direct.
The production is said to employ a variety of animation techniques, including extensive use of rotoscopes. The film will also feature Bullock, D’Angostino and Rebecca Everett.
Houston joins Jesse Gervasi, Maya Misarevich, Luca Durgeris, Paul Mancini, Consul Tara, Juan Keolan, Phil Lutz and writer-director D’Agostino.
This is the first animated film produced by Canada’s HighballTV.
