She continued, “What you signed up for is so unusual, and I’ve never felt that way — and maybe some people who just make billion-dollar movies feel that way, but if you’re as passionate about independent film , I do, you are always grateful for the work that keeps the lights on in life and being able to go back and forth between the two of them.
Elsewhere in the profile, Hathaway also talked about plans for a sequel to her beloved movie princess diary and the queen wearing prada — Both will come “as soon as possible,” she said.
“I was in good hands on both movies,” Hathaway said. “I was a baby, like a legal child, when I princess diary — I was 18 when we made it, I was a very, very young woman when I made it the queen wearing prada. I was mentored, cared for and cared for by the community that made these two films, especially their two directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel. I’m excited that now I can do that for other people, now that I have the knowledge, experience and confidence to take care of other people on set where I’m seen as a leader.
Hathaway also talked about her upcoming (as yet untitled) film with Christopher Nolan, which also stars Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o.

The actress has previously worked with Nolan and his producing partner, wife Emma Interstellar. “I mean, in my experience, being invited into their world is one of the best places you can find yourself,” Hathaway said. “It felt really good to be invited twice, and it felt so greedy to be invited three times, so I never let myself hope that would happen, and to be honest, it was exciting for me. It made me feel like I was doing the right thing. .
