The renewal of Shrink was announced Thursday during a special panel at New York Comic Con. Co-creators Jason Segel and Brett Goldstein and the cast were present to discuss the second season.

Matt Cherniss, head of programming at Apple TV+, added: “It’s fantastic to see audiences around the world fall in love with the unforgettable characters and rich worlds created by Bill, Brett, and Jason. We couldn’t be more excited for our audiences to watch.” Season three follows Jimmy, Paul, Liz, Gabby, Alice, Sean, Brian and Derek on their touching, heartwarming and wildly funny journey.
“Shrinking” is produced for Apple TV+ by Warner Bros. Television, with which both Lawrence and Goldstein have overall deals. Lawrence’s Doozer Productions also played a key role in the show’s production. Executive producers for Season 2 include Lawrence, Siegel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Lisa Kazer, Randall Winston, Anne Mebane, Rachna Fruchbom, and Brian Gallivan. For season three, Ashley Nicole Black and Bill Posley will join the team as executive producers.
