Last night in Dallas, there was a certain Dallas Mavericks game on ABC. Last night was one of them. So when I adjust to the Bachelor at 7:00 pm, it’s a 7:30 tip from the pre-match show. Thanks to one of my readers for lending me the Hulu Live username and password, I was able to watch the show for about 30 minutes and I caught up. Otherwise, it airs from 1:11 am-3:11 am in Dallas. So until today, I can’t get to it, which will delay everything by one day. Also, I’ve “Extracted” (premiered last night on Fox) and “Paradise” episode 5, and watch it today on Hulu. Shh, don’t tell me what’s going on. I haven’t seen it yet, but I will. Can’t wait.

The biggest news late last Friday was the announcement that the Bachelor will be temporarily suspended because no return date has been determined. This stirs up a lot of weekends, but lets me direct you to Bachelordata’s video just to calm people down a little:
For those who don’t know that shooting/playing usually disappears, it breaks down like this:
– Starting from January to March
– Singles finale airs the mid-term parade
– Bachelor filming starts in March (usually the Bachelor’s broadcaster) and packaged within 10 days of May
This hasn’t happened again in this news this past Friday night. From mid-March to early May, the Bachelors will not shoot their normal seasons. We don’t know if it will be filmed any time in 2025. The show said nothing except on the “pause” in 2025. I personally think it’s back in 2025 because I don’t like to see where they can fit it. “Bachelor of Heaven” will now be filmed in May (usually June), which will “replace” the Bachelors in the past two seasons (BC ABC has NBA and NHL finals rights, June) until after July 4 It only started broadcasting on Monday. So, Bip will be filmed in May and then aired sometime in July. They have not published a start date yet.
The Golden Bachelor will also be back this year, and it’s in the summer, probably the July/August movie. My guess is that once the BIP airs, it will start airing, but it has to be done on another night as this won’t be a match with Monday night football. Let’s remember that so far we have never aired on Monday for two golden seasons. They have their own nights. Therefore, it can be said that the Golden Bachelor ran for 6-8 weeks. This is the finale of late October/early November. You won’t start the single season then, nor will you air on Monday night. The only thing they did was Michelle’s season, but that was bad because that was the second Bachelor season in the 2021 calendar year (after Katie’s calendar year), and programming was everywhere due to covid. Yes, summarizing all of this – I can’t see any time in 2025 Bachelors happening.
Now, why did they decide to put it in 2025? We don’t know. This show is horrible when it comes to transparency and giving us any answers, so it’s no different. We will never know the real reason why they decided to pause it. But there are 3 Bachelor franchises in 2024 (Joey’s season, charity season and Joan’s season), and 2025 will also have the same number of shows as Bachelor’s (Grant’s season, BIP and Golden Bachelor). Honestly, the time for the franchise has not been shortened from the previous year. Just replace the bachelor with a Bip. Is this important? Um. It’s too early. If the bachelor never returns, then, that’s important. But this is not what the announcement says. They said it was a pause. Big difference. My guess is that it will be back next year and everything will return to normal.
One note: The woman told everyone that it was recorded on Saturday, March 1. I don’t remember the last time I told all the tapes last time.
