“On the Reals” should be the title of the ninth episode of “Bad Monkey”. This week it’s all about being real. *Oh, and by the way, the cliffhanger ending to this episode was so satisfying/overdue.

The storm is coming
Gracie’s curse is incredibly powerful. She just hadn’t really realized that fact yet. But things did change, remember that cliffhanger ending? Everything came to a head this week, not just Hurricane Mel.
It’s all about believing
Yancey and Rosa believe their plans are working: Neville and Dawnie and Nick and Eve. Yaya believes she has found Gracie’s replacement. Gracie still believes escape is the only answer. Bonnie still believes in her ability to control her own destiny. *Looks like she was right.
Nick and Eve
The power couple is losing control of everything. This was most likely due to the Dragon Queen’s curse, but this was aided by Yancey and Rosa. Eve throws Rosa to Egg, and the narrator does say there’s something wrong with the picture.
Neville and Yancey meet Gracie, aka the Dragon Queen, aka the Mysterious Lady. She reported to the police that Rosa was in trouble. He rushes to Nick and Eve’s place to save her. Neville arrived just in time to help his friend.

The former dragon and the queen met her mother. she learned about her yes magic. This information will be helpful in her final confrontation. Despite stealing Nick’s watch earlier, the island does keep her in place. Just like Yaya told her.

After a tense stick-and-shotgun match, Nick loses and Yancey escapes. *More Kudos Here: Gun Line. We won’t repost it, but you may find it interesting. (Or not, it could just be me.)*
Standing on the dock of the bay
Rosa gives Yancey an ultimatum. Gracie returns to her roots for a final confrontation with Eve. Nick will likely bleed out, and Yancey may have to fight Eve and the mysterious lady.
Summarize
For a show that had me long doubting its effectiveness, Bad Monkey has turned into a good one. “On Truth”, sorry, “You Really Don’t Want to Kill This Delicious Puppy” really rocks as the penultimate episode.
The pacing, the music, the plot, everything came together perfectly. This is probably the best episode bad monkey However. The only frustrating thing is the green screen shot of the pilot outside the plane.
*Honor: (The last one I promise.) The final meeting between Gracie and Eve.
