Barry Keoghan appears to be quitting Instagram following his high-profile split from Sabrina Carpenter.
On Saturday morning (December 7), the 32-year-old actor’s Instagram account displayed an error message: “Sorry, this page is unavailable.”
The night before, Keoghan shared a series of steamy gym selfies on his Instagram Story, showing off his physique in a dark green tank top, TMZ reports. He also posted several photos of blonde hair, presumably from the set of his upcoming movie Crime 101. However, just hours after the posts were published, his Instagram account was deactivated.
Despite being suspended from Instagram, Keoghan has not deleted all of his social media accounts. His X (formerly Twitter) account is still active, although he hasn’t posted on it since late November.
The Irish actor’s decision to leave Instagram comes just days after news broke of his split from Carpenter, 25. people On December 3, the couple, who had been together for about a year, decided to take a break due to their busy careers.
“They are both young and career-focused, so they decided to take a break,” the source explained.
The two first sparked dating rumors in late 2023 before making their first public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in March. Keoghan also appeared with Carpenter in the music video for her Billboard Hot 100 charting single “Please Please Please”, which was included on her album Short n’ Sweet.
After the album was released in late August, fans speculated that several of the songs, including the sexy “Bed Chem,” were inspired by Keoghan. In the song, Carpenter sings: “The day we met I was wearing a see-through dress/We were both in a hurry and we talked for a while/Who was that cute boy with the thick accent in the white jacket? …The one with the big Who is the cute guy with blue eyes?
Just last month, Keoghan was asked about his relationship with Carpenter during an appearance Louis Theroux Podcast. When asked directly if he was dating her, Keoghan laughed and replied, “Oh, I knew you’d do that,” before adding, “Look, I’m going to say I’m very lucky. Such a strong, independent lady, so talented, yes, quite special.
