A young man leaves his family’s sheep farm in the Australian outback to join his compatriots on the Western Front in World War I, hoping to help hasten an end to the bloody conflict. But as the war intensifies, he is forced to deal with the harsh realities of trench warfare, including a near-constant battle to save his own life without leaving anyone behind.
Inspired by the true diaries of local Anzac soldiers, this feature-length film details the untold stories of some of Australia’s greatest military victories.
