While Beyoncé made history when she announced her 2025 Grammy nominations on Friday (November 8), she turned the focus to another “queen” – Linda Martell.
Martell is nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance along with her and Shaboozey for “Spaghetti” from Beyoncé’s eighth studio album Cowboy Carter. In addition to “Spaghetti,” the pioneering country artist also delivered another spoken word segment on “The Linda Martell Show” from the same album. “Congratulations to my queen Linda Martell on her nomination and contribution to country music,” Queen Bey wrote on Instagram, sharing a throwback photo of the singer.

Beyoncé received 11 nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards, breaking a record tied with husband Jay-Z to become the most nominated artist in the show’s history. With “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, Album of the Year and Top Country Album, she’s up for Record of the Year and Top Country Song awards. She now has a total of 99 nominations, advertising billboard Break them all down here. In 2023, she took home four trophies, making history as the artist with the most Grammy Awards with 32, beating the late classical conductor Sir George Solti who previously held the record with 31 Grammy Awards .
