Beyoncé will celebrate Christmas on stage as she headlines the NFL’s halftime show on Dec. 25 between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, but it won’t last more than 20 minutes.
The superstar’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, appeared to reply to a fan account’s post on Thursday (December 12) via More Super Bowl time” 12-15 minutes. ”
In response, Noel-Schure simply wrote: “Not true. Her show didn’t last 20 minutes. See the response here.” advertising billboard She has been contacted to confirm her response but had not received a response as of press time.
Earlier this week, Bay released a 30-second trailer for the upcoming performance, in which she lights up a cactus Christmas tree while wearing an all-white outfit and cowboy hat. The title card at the end of the video, which was shared to Bey’s YouTube channel, reads “HALFTIME SHOW.” “This Christmas it’s Houston, Texas.”
The event will mark the “Texas Hold ‘Em” star’s first performance since releasing the Billboard 200 album Cowboy Carter Back in March.
The Texans-Ravens game will be played at NRG Stadium, Bey’s hometown, and it won’t be the only game televised by the NFL on Christmas Day. The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers will take a break at 1 p.m. ET, with the next game starting at 4:30 p.m. ET. Both games, as well as Bey’s halftime show, will be streamed live on Netflix, with regional broadcast and mobile access via NFL+.
