Although Eilish (who was preceded on stage by opener Ashnikko) warned the KIA Forum Night 4 audience about a recent battle with laryngitis, the superstar’s raw vocals were evident as she worked her way through a slew of old and new hits. At the time, there were no obvious signs that it was fighting laryngitis. Although Charli XCX wasn’t present for “Guess,” Eilish’s most recent duet with the band boy Powerful – Just like her surprise guest appearance on Tuesday night, Friday’s show did boast another very special appearance from one of Eilish’s most important collaborators.

Throughout, the superstar showcased her masterful talent for creating a sense of intimacy with thousands of spectators, creating a relaxed atmosphere despite playing in an arena packed with 17,000 screaming fans.
Here are 6 key highlights from Friday night’s show, along with the full setlist.

Laryngitis has never sounded better.
Near the end of Friday night’s show, after flawlessly performing several songs, Eilish told the audience that she was “all in my head because on November 13th, I got sick and I’ve been Just haven’t stopped being sick. family reunion
Eilish’s brother, creative collaborator and “favorite person in the world” Finneas joined her on stage Friday night, and Eilish made the “bittersweet” comment for the first time No tours to attend. “Christmas is coming,” Eilish said on stage, before launching into a gorgeous rendition of “Silent Night,” adding to the festive spirit of the night before the holiday. Eilish has covered Christmas songs every night of her run in Los Angeles so far, having previously performed “Silent Night,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”

Speaking of Christmas Eve…
As she has done throughout the tour, Eilish asked for a minute of silence before performing “When the Party’s Over,” explaining the concept this way: “Basically, all it takes is the first minute of the song, and the room It needed to be completely silent in there because I was going to use a live loop, record my own voice, and then sing on top of it. When you experience it in person, it’s amazing how silent the entire arena is – and hear Ali’s extraordinary voice. Humming in silence marks a moment of transcendent beauty.

Eilish briefly transformed into a guitar god on the night’s penultimate song, “Happier Than Ever,” where she whipped out a Fender Telecaster (as she’s been doing throughout the tour) ), showcasing her recently developed electric guitar skills – including a pyrotechnic display at the end. One of the most popular visual elements of the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour was Eilish’s use of a Go Pro-style camera (attached to a giant stage screen) to film herself while performing several songs, including “Bad Guy” and “Bury” a friend. This creation adds a playful and even intimate touch to the evening. Honestly, it’s so fun to see an artist of Eilish’s caliber goofing off with a camera in front of a big crowd. Eilish is rare among pop superstars in that he has a way of making an arena-sized crowd feel like they’re seeing the man behind the idol, and Friday night was no exception.
