Billy Joel has announced a one-off summer 2025 show with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart at New York’s Yankee Stadium. The one-night event will take place on July 18 at the iconic ballpark as part of Piano Man’s ongoing series of stadium shows with A-list guests.
Pre-sales for Citi card members will begin at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, January 13, and general pre-sales will begin at 10 a.m. ET on January 17.
Earlier this week, Joel released a wrap-up video celebrating his epic 2024 run with a host of co-headliners including Stewart, Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks and Sting , and celebrated with special guests daughters Alex Ray Joel, Jason Bonham, John Mayer and Trey Anastasio. The footage alludes to his melancholy 1976 song “New York State of Mind,” with flashes of Joel on stage with guests, as well as stops in Japan and Canada, and a nod to his historic 150th The game is also the last tribute.
It’s going to be a busy year for Joel, who has a show scheduled for January 17th at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, followed by a show with Sting at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in February Collaboration 8 – The Police singer and solo star will also join Joel on April 11 in Syracuse, April 26 in Milwaukee, May 10 in Charlotte and May 23 in Salt Lake City. Stewart will also perform at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium on July 5, kicking off the Yankee Stadium show.
