BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ explores deeply personal emotions on her upcoming debut album, Rossi.

The New Zealand-born, Australian-raised singer admits she has a habit of flipping through Doomsday Scrolls at night, which leads to “bad comments getting into my head”.

It’s not even necessarily about a boyfriend, just any type of toxic relationship.
“At the end of the day, I want people to understand me and stop misunderstanding me as a person,” Rosse said in the interview, adding that she was “ready to be more vulnerable, open and honest.”
ROSÉ is already setting records, led by the album’s first single “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars. The track reached number one on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. charts. Topping the US charts for two consecutive weeks, it is the first time since the survey began in 2020 that the song has exceeded 200 million plays globally in a few weeks.
Her chart success transcended the United States, and in Australia, “APT”. The song debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA singles chart, making ROSÉ the first female K-pop singer to top the charts.
The single holds the No. 1 spot for a second consecutive week, becoming the longest-running single by a Korean solo artist since PSY’s “Gangnam Style” in 2012, setting another milestone.
